Local area volleyball action Tuesday night saw three close matches that went the distance and one sweep in three sets. 

The Southern Door Eagles rallied to win in five sets over the Gibraltar Vikings taking game five 15-12.

The Sevastopol Pioneers won over the Kewaunee Storm in five sets.

The Algoma Wolves edged the Sturgeon Bay Clippers in five sets.

The Luxemburg-Casco Spartans swept the Waupaca Comets 3-0 in NEC action.
