Despite one game being played on Thursday, it will still be a busy night of high school football for area teams.

On 104.1 WRLU last night, the Luxemburg-Casco Spartans dropped a tightly contested and hard-fought road game 7-0 to the Little Chute Mustangs Friday night in a North Eastern Conference “Battle of the L-Cs.” 

Due to a lack of Vikings players, the game between Gibraltar and Lena/St. Thomas Aquinas was canceled, and now only one game will be featured on the NEW Radio Sports Network on Friday night. Southern Door and Sturgeon Bay will face off on Friday night on U102.1 in a Packerland Conference battle. The winner will all but guarantee a spot in the playoffs.

Other football games scheduled for 7 p.m. Friday kickoffs is Algoma traveling to Suring and Kewaunee hosting Peshtigo. Ishpeming visits Sevastopol for a 5 p.m. kickoff.
