The Luxemburg-Casco volleyball struggled in their latest tournament action on Saturday, losing three of its four matches to take eighth place overall at the Dasher Invite hosted by Divine Savior Holy Angels High School.
The Spartans were swept in straight sets by Pewaukee (22-25, 21-25), Manitowoc (23-25, 21-25), and Kettle Moraine Lutheran (22-25, 16-25) before winning their final match of the day, beating Oak Creek 2-0 (25-23, 25-21).
The team was led by Alayna Deprez (71 assists and 33 digs), Ella Vander Velden (31 kills and 37 digs), Aubrey Frey (24 kills and 41 digs), and Rylan Kaminski (43 digs).
