Gamblers split in Sioux City

It was a weekend of mixed results for the Green Bay Gamblers as they split their weekend series against the Sioux City Musketeers last weekend.

In Friday's 5-2 win, Mykhailo Danylov and Aidan Park put the Gamblers in front by two goals before the two teams traded tallies the rest of the way. Lev Katzin scored twice, and Will Zellers scored his own goal in front of Gavin Moffatt, who stopped 22 of the 24 shots he faced.

The offense dried up for both teams in the Gamblers' 2-0 loss on Saturday. Neither team scored until just over three minutes left and Landen Gunderson snuck in a shot past Moffatt. An empty netter secured the win for the Musketeers.
