The Green Bay Gamblers play their first home game in over 20 days on Saturday night when they play in-state rival Madison.
The Gamblers split their series against the Sioux City Musketeers last weekend. In Friday's 5-2 win, Mykhailo Danylov and Aidan Park put the Gamblers in front by two goals before the two teams traded tallies the rest of the way. Lev Katzin scored twice, and Will Zellers scored his own goal in front of Gavin Moffatt, who stopped 22 of the 24 shots he faced. The offense dried up for both teams in the Gamblers' 2-0 loss on Saturday. Neither team scored until just over three minutes left and Landen Gunderson snuck in a shot past Moffatt. An empty netter secured the win for the Musketeers.
The Gamblers lost to the Capitols 5-2 earlier this month in Madison as the home team scored three unanswered goals in the third period. The Capitols' offense has been clicking so far, scoring at least five goals in three of their games.
The puck drop is set for 6:05 p.m.
