The 2024-25 version of the Wisconsin Badger men’s basketball team will take the court for the first time Wednesday night as they host Wisconsin-River Falls in an exhibition game at the Kohl Center.
The Badgers are coming off a 22-14 record last year with an 11-9 record in the Big Ten under Coach Greg Gard, who is starting his ninth season in Madison. In the NCAA tournament, the Badgers were a fifth seed and were upset by 12th-seeded James Madison in the first round.
The game in Madison tonight continues the tradition of playing Wisconsin Intercollegiate Athletic Conference foes since 2005.
Tip is scheduled for 7 p.m. at the Kohl Center with the annual Cancer Awareness game.
