The Green Bay Packers announced Tuesday that they had signed linebacker Jamin Davis to the practice squad. Davis, a former 2021 first-round pick by Washington , started 36 of 45 games in three seasons with the Commanders. The 6'-3" 234-pound inside linebacker played in 13 games last season for Washington before going on the injured reserve after a shoulder injury.
To make room on the roster for Davis, the Packers cut linebacker Chris Russell who was signed back in August, was cut, and re-signed to the practice squad at the end of August.
