Packers face stern test vs. Lions at Lambeau Sunday

The Green Bay Packers look to avoid dropping to 0-2 in the NFC North on Sunday when they welcome the Detroit Lions to Lambeau Field.

Two of the biggest acquisitions of the season were not on the roster to begin training camp but loomed large in the Green Bay Packers' 30-27 win over the Jacksonville Jaguars on the road last Sunday. After Jordan Love exited the game with an injured groin, Malik Willis entered the game and engineered two touchdown drives to help the Packers retake the lead. The Jaguars answered accordingly and tied the game late before Brandon McManus registered his second walk-off, game-winning field goal to lead the Packers to the win. Jacobs ended his day with 127 yards on 25 carries, including a 38-yard score to put the Packers up 20-17 after the Jaguars took the lead.

The Lions took advantage of short fields against the Tennessee Titans in a 52-10 victory last Sunday. Jared Goff only threw for 85 yards on 12 completions, but three of those went for touchdowns while Jahmyr Gibbs rushed for 127 yards and a score.

Kickoff is set for 3:25 p.m.
