Sturgeon Bay soccer season ends at Saint Mary Catholic
The Clippers’ soccer season ended on Saturday with a 0-4 loss to Kiel in the sectional finals. Sturgeon Bay found themselves in a hole early on after giving up a penalty kick just four minutes into the match after an unlucky bounce lead to a foul in the box. Emerson Sitzman scored on the kick. The Clippers would hold the score at 0-1 until 33 seconds into the second half when Emerson Sitzman would find the net again. Shortly after, Heller would score in the 44th minute and then Koen Sitzman would add another bringing the score to 4-0. The Clippers need to be commended on another great season and winning their 16th in a row regional title this year.
