When do winter sports begin?

With just the Luxemburg-Casco volleyball team and the Door County United swim team the only squad still alive in the fall season, hundreds of winter sports athletes in Door and Kewaunee counties are patiently waiting for the next season to start.

Below are the key dates to keep in mind with many winter sports kicking into gear next week:

BOYS BASKETBALL

Earliest Practice: November 18

Earliest Game: November 26

GIRLS BASKETBALL

Earliest Practice: November 11

Earliest Game: November 19

BOYS SWIMMING

Earliest Practice: November 18

Earliest Meet: November 26

WRESTLING

Earliest Practice: November 18, 2024
Earliest Meet: November 29, 2024
