Before the area's girls basketball teams start playing for keeps next Tuesday, many of them will hit the court on Saturday for their first taste of competition this season.

Southern Door visits Clintonville to face the host school and Manawa at 9 a.m.

Kewaunee travels to Valders for a 9 a.m. scrimmage.

Algoma welcomes Green Bay Southwest and Kiel for a series of scrimmages at 11 a.m. The Wolves will play the Trojans at 11 a.m. and the Raiders at 1:30 p.m.

Sturgeon Bay and Gibraltar will keep things local as they meet at 11 a.m. in Fish Creek.
