The Green Bay Phoenix men's basketball team will get their first taste of the Resch Center on Tuesday night when they play Southern Illinois-Edwardsville.

The Phoenix dropped to 1-3 on the season on Saturday in its 79-65 loss to Providence. The Phoenix men tied things at 36 at the break and had a slim two-point lead late in the second half. A 12-0 Friars put them ahead 55-50 lead, and they never looked back. Marcus Hall led the way with 19 points, Anthony Roy added 17 points, and Jeremiah Johnson contributed another 10 points. Roy is currently in the top 10 in scoring in the NCAA.

The Cougars are 3-2 entering the matchup, with both losses coming against nationally-ranked Indiana and Illinois. Brian Taylor II is coming off a 23-point performance in the Cougars' 76-58 win against Canisius.
