The Green Bay Gamblers have one last road trip against Team USA this weekend before a three-game homestand next week at the Resch Center.
A shootout win on Saturday salvaged last weekend's set in Fargo for the Green Bay Gamblers. In Friday's 3-2 loss, a first period goal by the Force proved to be the difference as both teams netted two goals in the second frame. Will Zellers and Vasily Zelenov scored the goals while Lukas Peterson registered two points on assists. In their 4-3 shootout win, the Gamblers saw their 3-1 third period lead vanish before Peterson provided the difference in the shootout. Aidan Park scored twice on either side of Peterson's tally to give the Gamblers the advantage in the second frame.
Team USA is going through its roughest portion of the season as they sit in last place in the conference with a 3-10-0 mark.
The puck drops at 6 p.m. on Friday and Saturday.
