A first-half lead proved to be just enough as the Green Bay Phoenix women nipped the Norfolk State Spartans 55-54.

The Phoenix carried a 38-18 lead into break, but an 11-0 run in the third quarter put the Spartans in a threatening position in the third quarter. Maddy Schreiber's turn-around jumper with eight seconds remaining proved to be the game winner as she boasted a 23 point morning. Bailey Butler added nine points and Natalie McNeal and Callie Genke each posted eight points in the win.
