Girls basketball round-up: Sevastopol, Algoma pick up wins

The area's girls basketball teams ended their week with games on Friday night.

 

The Sturgeon Bay Clippers girls basketball team fought back from a seven-point halftime deficit to force overtime but ultimately fell to Peshtigo Friday night 48-43.

 

The Algoma girls basketball team continued their hot start to the season, beating Oconto 66-45.

 

The Luxemburg-Casco girls basketball team could not escape a first-half deficit in its 54-51 loss to Oconto Falls on Friday night.

 

NEW Lutheran had three players score in double-figures to get past Gibraltar in a 65-45 win.

 

The Sevastopol girls basketball team outscored Southern Door 37-14 in the second half to cruise to a 64-29 victory on Friday night.
