After nearly a week off from competition, area wrestling teams will hit the mats once again on Friday.
For the boys, Luxemburg-Casco continues to use up gas cards as the head to DeKalb, Ill. for the The FLAVIN' Tournament. Made up of primarily Illinois teams, the Spartans will be one of three Wisconsin teams battling beyond the Cheddar Curtain when action begins at 8 a.m.
Kewaunee, Southern Door, and Sturgeon Bay/Sevastopol will all head to Oshkosh for the On the Water Classic organized by the Lourdes Academy but hosted at UW-Oshkosh. Hopkins, Wisconsin Lutheran, Chippewa Falls, Hartford Union, Muskego, Watertown, West Bend West, Stevens Point Areas Senior High School, Elkhorn, Oshkosh North, Neenah, Menasha, Oshkosh West, Mosinee, Germantown, Suring, West De Pere, Valders, Pittsville, Amherst, Ashwaubenon, Athens, Bonduel, Brillion, Brookfield Central, Brown Deer, Campbellsport, Chilton, Coleman, Florence, Grafton, Green Bay West, Hortonville, Laconia, Lomira, Markesan, Mishicot, Omro, Peshtigo, Plymouth, Random Lake, Laona-Wabeno, Waterloo, Waupaca, West Allis Central, West Allis Nathan Hale, Winneconne, Wittenberg-Birnamwood, Crandon, New London, Fremd, Lane Tech, Indian Trail & Academy, Wilmot Union, South Milwaukee, Belleville, Reedsburg, Reedsville, Green Lake/Princeton, Kewaskum, Denmark, and Shawano Community are also participating when the action begins at 9:30 a.m.

Sturgeon Bay/Sevastopol will not travel nearly as far for their tournament hosted by Sheboygan South at Lakeland University as they battle Hartford Union, West Bend East, Fond du Lac, Oshkosh North, Seymour, Campbellsport, Dodgeland, New Berlin West, New Holstein, Plymouth, Ripon, Laona-Wabeno, West Allis Nathan Hale, Whitewater, Winneconne, Xavier, Sheboygan North, Kewaskum, and Marinette. Wrestling begins at 10 a.m.
