Whether it is being played in Titletown or not, Green Bay is definitely the common thread between all of the area boys basketball games being played on Saturday.

Three Southern Door players scored in double figures but they were still left chasing Mosinee 72-64 in the opening game of the Green Bay Preble Holiday Tournament on Friday. The Eagles will face Milwaukee Washington on Saturday at noon after they lost to the host Hornets 80-71. The squad features two of the top scorers in the state: Rudy Baker, who averages 27.5 points per game, and Solomon Dotson, who registers 25.0 points per game.

Luxemburg-Casco will join the Sun-Drop Shootout fray at the Kress Events Center with a 5 p.m. game against Green Bay Southwest.

Sturgeon Bay is not playing in Green Bay, but Green Bay East is coming to them for a 2 p.m. tip.
