Girls basketball round-up: Sturgeon Bay takes its turn at Sun Drop Shootout

Hours after Sevastopol played at UW-Green Bay's Kress Events Center, Sturgeon Bay will open Saturday's Sun Drop Shootout play in girls basketball action.

The Clippers start things off with a matchup against Gillett at 10:30 a.m.

FRIDAY'S ACTION

Naomi Rikkola scored 28 of the Sevastopol girls' basketball team's 46 points in a 46-39 victory over Wrightstown in Friday's Sun Drop Shootout showcase.

The Brillion Lions outscored the Algoma Wolves girls basketball team 25-20 in the second half to secure the 45-40 win and snap the Wolves' seven game winning streak on Friday night.
