The Green Bay Gamblers held on to beat the Madison Capitols 2-1 in overtime to steal a sweep of their in-state rivals Saturday night at the Resch Center.
The tightly contested game would see no scoring until William Samuelsson lit the lamp more than seven minutes into the third period. The Capitols would tie the game seven minutes later, and the game entered the extra period deadlocked at one. Lukas Peterson took care of business quickly for the Gamblers, registering the game-winner 21 seconds into overtime.
