Wrestling round-up: SBS' Madsen takes second, L-C's Bastien hits milestone

The area's wrestling teams wrapped up tournaments on Saturday, earning hardware along the way.

 

Blakelee Bastien went south of the Cheddar Curtain to hit 150 wins in his career after going 6-0 at The FLAVIN' Tournament in DeKalb, Ill.

 

The highest placing of any area wrestler this holiday weekend was Sturgeon Bay/Sevastopol's Spencer Madsen after he took second place at the On The Water Classic in Oshkosh.

 

Southern Door's Nora LeFevre finished her weekend in LaCrosse with hardware, taking 11th place in the Bi-State Classic.

 

Southern Door's Ethan Alexander and Lance Veeser battled their way through the consolation brackets to earn a place at the On The Water Classic hosted by Lourdes Academy in Oshkosh on Saturday.

 

Kewaunee's Mitchell Boeder kept his winning ways going during the weekend's On The Water Classic, taking third place at 285 pounds.
