Storm girls end 2024 against Tigers

The Kewaunee girls' basketball team looks to end 2024 on a high note when it welcomes Wrightstown to town on Monday night.

 

The Storm enter the game 7-1 on the season and riding a four-game winning streak. In their last game, the Storm outscored the Pioneers 37-15 en route to a 53-35 victory over Sevastopol. Jade Kroll led the Storm with 14 points while Breanna Riha added 11 points and Gabrielle Stangel chipped in nine points. 

 

The Tigers are 3-4 on the season and coming off a 46-39 loss to the Pioneers in the Sun Drop Shootout last Friday. Ella Verbeten leads the Tigers in scoring and rebounding, averaging more than 20 points and five boards a game.

 

Tip-off is scheduled for 7 p.m.
