The Kewaunee girls basketball team ended 2024 on a high note, beating Wrightstown in front of a home audience 45-19 on Monday night.

The Storm opened the game scoring the first six points, but the Tigers would whittle the advantage down to 11-8 midway through the first half. The Storm would put a stranglehold on the contest after that, outscoring  the Tigers 12-4 the rest of the way to make it 23-12 at the break. The Storm only made things worse for the Tigers in the second half, holding them to just two points over the final 9:33. They outscored the Tigers 17-2 during that span.

The Storm improved to 8-1 on the season and will play Sheboygan Lutheran on Thursday.
