After being the last team in the NFL to play in an international game, reports out of Pittsburgh say the Green Bay Packers could play their third overall and their second in as many seasons during the 2025 campaign.
SB Nation's Acme Packing Company reported the possibility earlier this week, citing Gerry Dulac of the Pittsburgh Post-Gazette and Noah Strackbein of Sports Illustrated as its sources. The Pittsburgh Steelers would act as the home team, and the Packers would serve as the away team. The Steelers have a connection with Ireland due to its former owner, Dan Rooney, serving as a past U.S. Ambassador to Ireland during the Obama administration.
The Packers have played in London (2022) and Brazil (2024).
