Gamblers' unique road trip continues Friday

Compared to its usual schedule, the Green Bay Gamblers' four-game road trip concluding this weekend is a little unusual.

Like last weekend, the Gamblers will play two games in two different cities in two days. Last weekend, the Gamblers struggled after its Friday night win against the Chicago Steel, losing to the Steel in Geneva, Ill. 6-2 on Saturday and 6-3 on Sunday to Team USA. This weekend, the Gamblers will travel to Cedar Rapids for a Friday night game before returning to Geneva, Ill. for another matchup against the Chicago Steel on Saturday.

Both teams are looking up at the Gamblers in the USHL Eastern Conference. The Gamblers sit in 5th place with 35 points followed by the Roughriders (30 points) and the Steel (22 points).

Friday's game begins at 7:05 p.m. with Saturday's puck drop scheduled for 6:05 p.m. The Gamblers end January just as unique with three games against different teams and no back-to-backs. At the very least, they will be at home for those games.
