Girls basketball round-up: Kewaunee's Kroll reaches milestone

Several area girls' basketball players ended their week with strong performances on Friday night.

 

Scoring 39 points in the game, Kewaunee's Jade Kroll left Fish Creek with a lot more than just an 82-24 win over Gibraltar on Friday night.

 

Sevastopol's Kayla Ranly stands just 17 points away from 1,000 points after leading the Pioneers to a 63-43 win over Wabeno/Laona.

 

The Algoma girls basketball team was able to make a 27-10 halftime lead stick as they beat NEW Lutheran 42-35 on Friday night.

 

The Southern Door girls basketball team could not end their week on a high note, falling to Peshtigo 68-43.

 

The Sturgeon Bay girls basketball team battled foul trouble and a strong Oconto offense in its 51-35 loss on Friday night.
