After a busy night for Packerland Conference teams, Luxemburg-Casco and some of the area's girls wrestlers will take to the mats on Friday night.

In Thursday's action, Sturgeon Bay/Sevastopol swept its matches by scores of 56-23 over Oconto and 35-34 over Peshtigo. Southern Door was swept by those schools, losing 51-24 to Peshtigo and 48-35 to Oconto.

On Friday, the Spartans will host the Northeastern Conference Varsity Tournament with a trio of dual meets beginning at 4:30 p.m. Clintonville, Denmark, Fox Valley Lutheran, Freedom, Little Chute, Marinette, Oconto Falls, Waupaca, and Wrightstown are all scheduled to participate.

The Southern Door girls wrestling team will compete against Wausau West, Appleton West, Oshkosh North, Mosinee, Suring, Edgar, Stratford, Auburndale, Chilton, Green Bay Preble, Lena, Manawa, Lomira, Menominee Indian, Mishicot, Nekoosa, Oostburg, Ripon, Rosholt, Wittenberg-Birnamwood, Crandon, Marinette, Weyauwega Fremont, and Shawano Community at Bonduel beginning at 5:15 p.m.
