All eyes will be on Sturgeon Bay on Saturday when wrestlers come to town for the Dirk Sorenson Door County Classic.

Host Sturgeon Bay/Sevastopol and Southern Door will face the likes of Cedar Grove-Belgium, Crivitz, Denmark, Green Bay Preble, Lena, Oconto, Oshkosh West, Suring, Wittenberg-Birnamwood, and Wrightstown for the annual tournament, which begins at 8 a.m. with weigh-ins.

The girls programs for Kewaunee and Luxemburg-Casco will head to Bay Port for a tournament featuring Appleton North, Bay Port, Brillion, Colby, Coleman, DC Everest, De Pere, Florence, Fond du Lac, Fox Valley Lutheran, Green Bay United, Hortonville, Manitowoc Lincoln, Marinette, Marshfield, Merrill, Mishicot, New London, Oconto Falls, Peshtigo, Random Lake, Seymour, Shiocton, West De Pere, and Whitefish Bay. Wrestling begins at 8 a.m.

FRIDAY'S RESULTS

The Luxemburg-Casco wrestling team had to hold their breath until the final match of their three-dual sweep at the NEC Championships Friday night in Luxemburg, beating Freedom 61-16, Oconto Falls 52-23, and Freedom 41-39.

Nora LeFevre found herself on top of the mountain at Friday's BRAWL @ The Bears Den in Bonduel Friday night, one of three Southern Door wrestlers to finish in the top three.
