Second period proves fatal for Gamblers vs. Blackhawks

The Waterloo Black Hawks scored four goals in a pivotal second period to double up the Green Bay Gamblers 6-3 Saturday night.

 

Will Zellers and William Samuelsson each tallied goals to make 2-0 before the Black Hawks put the game away with six straight goals across a period and a half. Reece Cordray scored a goal for the Gamblers in the final eight seconds to cut the Black Hawks advantage in half. Andrew O'Sullivan tallied two assist in the loss while Gavin Moffatt stopped 23 of the 29 shots he faced.
