After the cold locked them out a week ago, the Algoma Wolves boys basketball team will make up its game against Valders on Monday night.
The Wolves had their four-game winning streak snapped on Friday in a 66-46 loss to county rival Kewaunee. Parker Lischka's 12 first-half points helped the Wolves get to the intermission with a 25-23 lead. The Storm flipped the script in the second half, outscoring the Wolves 41-19 thanks to seven three-pointers. Lischka slowed down in the second half, but still led the Wolves with 16 points. Chase Romdenne and Braden Leist each added 10 points for the Wolves in the loss.
The Vikings snapped a five-game losing skid in its last game, outscoring Chilton by 20 in the first half en route to a 72-49 win. Will Sieracki leads the Vikings with 20 ppg and 7.0 rpg. Teammate Mason Staudinger also nearly averages a double-double a game with 10.9 ppg and 7.3 rpg.
Tip-off is set for 7 p.m. in Algoma. The Wolves are set to for a quick turnaround with a game against NEW Lutheran tomorrow.
