Gamblers host Muskegon residency this weekend

You will get an opportunity to catch plenty of the Muskegon Lumberjacks this weekend at the Resch Center as the Green Bay Gamblers host their Michigan rivals for three straight evenings.

The Gamblers look to bounce back from a 6-3 Saturday night loss to Waterloo last weekend. Will Zellers and William Samuelsson each tallied goals to make 2-0 before the Black Hawks put the game away with six straight goals across a period and a half. Reece Cordray scored a goal for the Gamblers in the final eight seconds to cut the Black Hawks' advantage in half. Andrew O'Sullivan tallied two assists in the loss, while Gavin Moffatt stopped 23 of the 29 shots he faced.

The Gamblers (41 pts) are nine points behind the Lumberjacks (50 pts) in the USHL Eastern Conference standings. The Lumberjacks posted two lopsided wins last weekend against Team USA after being swept by Lincoln the previous weekend.

Friday's game is set for 7:05 p.m., Saturday's matchup is at 6:05 p.m., and Sunday's is at 3:05 p.m.
