Gamblers come up short against Lumberjacks

In front of over 7,100 fans, the Green Bay Gamblers could not complete the comeback against the Muskegon Lumberjacks on Saturday night, falling 2-1.

The Lumberjacks were up 2-0 when Zach Wooten finally lit the lamp for the Gamblers in the second period. Neither team would score in the third period, leaving Sunday the last chance to win the weekend series for the Gamblers. Leo Henriquez took the loss in net for the Gamblers, stopping 36 of 38 shots faced.

The rubber match is set for Sunday with a puck drop of 3:05 p.m.
