The Green Bay Gamblers' Will Zellers made sure the crowd of over 3,000 fans went home happy on Sunday, scoring the final two goals of the team's 3-2 overtime win over Muskegon.
The visiting Lumberjacks looked to be in control after striking first in the opening period before Jack Galanek made it a 2-0 game late in the second period. There was still plenty of time for Aidan Park to cut the lead in half with just over 30 seconds left in the period, leaving the Gamblers trailing 2-1 entering the third period. Zellers registered the game-tying goal with 90 seconds remaining in the game before giving the Gamblers the extra point with another tally in the opening minute of overtime. Gavin Moffatt earned the win for the Gamblers, stopping 27 of the 29 shots he faced.
