Boys basketball round-up: Rough night for local teams

The area's boys basketball teams will hope for better results on Tuesday after they went 0-3 on Monday night.

 

The Sturgeon Bay boys basketball team will have a quick turnaround ahead of them after losing to Valders 70-59 on Monday. The Clippers will keep things non-conference on Tuesday when they play a 6 p.m. game at home against Roncalli.

 

Kewaunee fell to Kiel 78-66 ahead of their mitten toss matchup against Peshtigo at 5:30 p.m. on Tuesday.

 

Two Rivers' zone defense gave the Gibraltar boys basketball team fits in a 65-41 loss in Fish Creek on Monday. The Vikings are off until Friday's game against Oconto, which can be heard on 105.1 the GOAT.

 

Other games scheduled for Tuesday include Luxemburg-Casco traveling to Little Chute (7 p.m.), Algoma traveling to Sevastopol (7:15 p.m.), and Southern Door hosting Crivitz (7 p.m.)
