More than 30 years after playing his final game for the Green and Gold, the Green Bay Packers' Sterling Sharpe will finally be enshrined in Canton.

Sharpe became the 29th member of the Packers to be elected to the Pro Football Hall of Fame when he officially got the call on Thursday night, joining Jared Allen, Antonio Gates, and Eric Allen in the Class of 2025. Sharpe had long been looked at as a glaring omission from Canton, with his brother and HOF Tight End Shannon Sharpe pointing out his place in football lore despite being the second-best pass catcher in the family. A first round draft pick of the Packers, Sharpe made 595 receptions for 8,134 yards and 65 touchdowns in his career. Per Packers.com, he is one of only three players in NFL history with those numbers through seven seasons. 

Sharpe will be inducted into the Pro Football Hall of Fame in August.
