The Marquette Golden Eagles got back on the winning track Tuesday night at Fiserv Forum with a 68-58 win over the DePaul Blue Demons.
The #18-ranked Eagles took a slim 28-26 lead into halftime, but they opened up a 13-point lead in the second half and kept DePaul at bay the rest of the way.
Kam Jones scored 19 points and moved up to third on the all-time scoring list at Marquette, while Stevie Mitchell added 18 more to pace the Golden Eagles.
Marquette improves to 19-6 overall and 10-4 in the Big East while snapping a three-game losing streak. The Golden Eagles are off until next Tuesday, when they host the Seton Hall Pirates at 8:00 p.m.
