The Green Bay Phoenix men's basketball team looks to win two games in a row all season long on Friday when they play at Robert Morris.
The Phoenix broke a program-record 22-game losing streak on Sunday when they beat Wright State 79-68. Holding onto a six-point lead, Ben Tweedy tightened the Phoenix's grip on the game in the second half en route to a 27-point game. Marcus Hall pitched in with 15 points, while Preston Ruedinger added 14 points, and Ryan Wade contributed 11.
The Colonials have been one of the biggest surprises in the Horizon League this season, boasting a 20-8 record that puts them in second place in the conference. They have won their last four games and 10 of their last 11. That includes an 89-67 win at the Resch Center on January 17th, which saw the Phoenix blow a 17-point lead.
Tip-off is set for 6 p.m. The team's road trip continues on Sunday when they play at Youingstown State.
