The road to Madison began Tuesday night as the WIAA girl's basketball tournament started with quarter-final regionals.

In Division 3,  

#11 The Sturgeon Bay Clippers lost to  Tomahawk 50-35 on the road.

#12 Southern Door Eagles dropped a  62-32 decision to the Brillion  Lions.

#6 Algoma Wolves won easily against the Mishicot Indians 55-36.

In Division 5

#12 Gibraltar Vikings fell to #5 Niagara 68-36, as heard on 105.1 The GOAT as Mikala Gorham scored her 1,000 point in her final game for the Vikings.

#3 Sevastopol Pioneers whopped up on Wausaukee 70-13 on U-102.1

Kewaunee and Luxemburg-Casco both will wait and host a regional semi-final Friday night, with the Storm game broadcasted on 104.1 WRLU
