On Tuesday, the Milwaukee Brewers beat the Cleveland Guardians 9-6 in exhibition baseball in Arizona.
The Brewers scored six runs in the first two innings to give a nice cushion for top pitching prospect Jacob Misiorowski who made his debut on the mound. The 6-7 inch hurler pitched one inning and topped 99 mph on his fastball. He won by allowing two runs on one hit while walking three and striking out one.
Offensively, Milwaukee had eleven hits overall, with Cooper Pratt going 3 for 4 and having 3 RBIs in the win. Jake Bauers hit a three-run home run, and Jared Oliva hit a solo homer for the Brewers, who improved to 2-2 in Cactus League play.
The Brewers will face the Los Angeles Dodgers at 2:10 p.m. Wednesday at American Family Field of Phoenix.
