Four area teams will continue their march toward the Resch Center in Green Bay on Friday night, with two of the games being featured on the NEW Radio Sports Network.

The Sevastopol Pioneers girls' basketball team will face a similar situation to last year on Friday night when they welcome Wabeno/Laona to the Institute for the WIAA Regional Semifinal in the Division 5 Girls' Basketball Tournament. Jacob Nate and Tim Kowols will have the call from Sevastopol on U-102.1 beginning at 6:45 p.m. with the pregame show followed by the opening tip at 7 p.m.

Kewaunee opens its tournament run on Friday with a matchup against Cedar Grove-Belgium. Paul Schmitt and Eric Fischer will have the call on 104.1 WRLU beginning at 6:45 p.m., followed by the opening tip at 7 p.m. With a little luck, they could face Algoma in the regional final if the Wolves can get past Valders on the road on Friday at 7 p.m.

Luxemburg-Casco will also start their tournament run at Division 2 on Friday with a home game against Pulaski. Tip time is set for 7 p.m.
