Girls basketball round-up: Sevastopol, Kewaunee advance on NRSN

Two of the four area teams are still alive in the WIAA Girls Basketball Tournament after their regional semifinal matchups.

The Algoma Wolves' girls basketball team saw their season end Friday night in a 49-41 loss to Valders in the regional semifinal of the WIAA Tournament. The Vikings will travel to Kewaunee to face the Storm after they cruised past the Rockets of Cedar Grove-Belgium 65-46. Paul Schmitt and Eric Fischer will have the call on 104.1 WRLU beginning at 6:45 p.m. with the pregame show followed by opening tip at 7 p.m.

The Luxemburg-Casco Lady Spartans had their hearts broken by the Pulaski Red Raiders in a 38-34 loss at home.
