Blizzard come back for wild victory

Defense was optional but the Green Bay Blizzard came back from a slim halftime deficit to beat the Tulsa Oilers 74-68.

Each team turned the ball over on downs just once during the course of the game with the Blizzard doing so just before halftime to allow the Oilers to have the upper hand with a 40-38 lead at the break. The Oilers' miscue came late in the game when they had the ball with a chance to win the game late but could not convert on fourth down to send the game into overtime. The Oilers kicked a field goal in the extra frame, but it was Max Meylor's third rushing touchdown of the game that sent the near capacity crowd into a tizzy.

Meylor had seven total touchdowns on the game, complementing his rushing totals with 183 yards and four passing touchdowns. Kymani Clarke also had three rushing touchdowns for the Blizzard while four different receivers caught a touchdown pass from Meylor.
