Rockers add new players, bat dogs to lineup

Members of the two-legged and four-legged variety have been added in recent weeks to the Green Bay Rockers roster.

To kickoff last week, the Rockers added four pitchers to the team with the signings RHP Maddox Long (Harding University), LHP Heitaro Hayashi (Wagner College), LHP Jayden Martin (Wallace-Hanceville CC), and LHP Simon Aluko (Shorter University).

On Friday, the Rockers added two more pitchers and an infielder, signing Columbia University's Tomas Lopez (RHP), Eric Jeon (IF), and Barry University product Aiden Ewe (RHP).

In between, the Rockers announced they would have three different bat dogs dotting the schedule to assist in their bat retrieval efforts. The organization announced that Cooper (Misfit Hills Pet Services) will share bat dog duties with Scout and Wally (Practical Obedience LLC) to cover 20 of the team’s 36 home games this summer.
