Blizzard sink Pirates

The wait was worth it for the Green Bay Blizzard as they beat the Massachusetts Pirates 47-35 Sunday afternoon.

 

The Blizzard used a 16-6 advantage in the first quarter to hold on for the win. Max Meylor led the way, throwing for 155 yards and four touchdowns on 16 completions. He also rushed for 47 yards and two scores on the ground. Lowell Patron paced the Blizzard's wide receiving corps with six catches for 81 yards and two scores.

 

The Blizzard will pay a visit to Tulsa for their next game on May 3rd at 7:05 p.m.
