Local teams won big at Friday's track meets across the area.
In Luxemburg, the Southern Door girls and the Luxemburg-Casco boys won team titles at Friday's rain-postponed Spartan Invite. It was worth the wait for Southern Door's Ben Grota (1600m), Braeden VanRemortel(High Jump), Grant Pieschek (Pole Vault), Lauden Berg (Long Jump and Triple Jump), Frankie Nellis (Long Jump and Triple Jump), the girls 4x100m relay, the girls 4x200m relay, Elise Jackson (100m and 300m hurdles), and Luxemburg-Casco's Cameron Dorner (100m), Brady Kinnard (400m), Kyan Lynts (3200m), Mason Trimburger(100m and 300m hurdles), Sienna Blohowiak(100m) and Claire DuChateau (3200m), all ofwhom won their respective events.

In Kohler, Sevastopol took sixth in the boys and girls divisions at the Kohler Glenn Funk Invite. Landon Frank (100m), Jarius Dadam (Triple Jump), Caitlyn Hasenjager(300m hurdles), and the 4x200m relay all garnered top three finishes.
