A 13-run outburst in the second inning set the stage for a three-inning, 16-1 victory over Gibraltar/Washington Island Friday night for the Kewaunee softball team. The Storm are back in action on Saturday with an 11 a.m. first pitch against Seymour at home.
The Luxemburg-Casco softball team piled up 30 runs across two games to beat Little Chute 13-0 and 17-0 Friday night. The Spartans play at a tournament in Pulaski featuring Laconia, New London, and Waupun starting at 11 a.m.
The Southern Door softball team split their games with Oconto Falls on Friday, winning game one 4-1 before dropping game two 8-6. The Eagles are back in action Saturday with a 9 a.m. invitational at Chilton.
The Wolves are on the prowl on Saturday when at 1:30 p.m., Algoma plays Notre Dame before battling Denmark at 3:30 p.m.
