Softball round-up: Clippers catch 'Cats in come-from-behind fashion

On the eve of seeding meetings for the state's smaller divisions, area softball teams head back to the diamond on Tuesday.

 

The Sturgeon Bay Clippers softball team scored four runs in the fifth and seventh innings to beat Green Bay West 9-8 at Colburn Park in Green Bay on Monday. They head back to work on Tuesday when they travel to Crivitz (4:30 p.m.).

 

Other games scheduled for Tuesday include Luxemburg-Casco traveling to Freedom (4:30 p.m.), Kewaunee hosting Peshtigo (5 p.m.), Sevastopol welcoming Algoma (4:30 p.m.), Gibraltar playing two at Oconto (4 p.m.), and Southern Door heading to NEW Lutheran (4:30 p.m.).
