The area's softball teams hope Thursday's outbreak of offense will carry over to Friday's slate of games.

Scores from Thursday's games include Sevastopol cruising past Sturgeon Bay 13-2, Luxemburg-Casco blowing out Kewaunee 11-1, and Gibraltar/Washington Island split its doubleheader with NEW Lutheran, winning 8-7 before losing 12-8.

Friday's slate has Luxemburg-Casco playing a doubleheader against Waupaca (4:30 p.m.), Algoma hosting Valders (4:30 p.m.), and Sevastopol traveling to Southern Door (4:30 p.m.).
