Sturgeon Bay played up divisions during Saturday's tournament at Kiel, losing to D1 Manitowoc Lutheran (0-5) and D2 Kaukauna (0-3), before beating D3 Shawano (4-2) in a shootout to take sixth place.

“The Kiel Tournament is a well organized event and offers competition we don’t typically see and its always very challenging. Our defense played well again in this tournament and it is an excellent tuneup for our post season. We travel to Elkhart Lake on Monday and we are playing well right now. It should be a good match up down there.”  Keeper Isabella Jimenez Seyfer stopped 3 PK shots to seal the win against Shawano.
