Peshtigo boys, Southern Door girls win Packerland Track titles

Southern Door nearly came home with two Packerland Conference track titles Monday night in Kewaunee, settling for one for the girls.

 

The Eagles edged Kewaunee 190-187 to win the crown for the girls while the boys were nearly nine points shy of overtaking Peshtigo for the top spot 182.5-174. 

 

Local individual champions included:

Algoma: Estella Marrero (Pole Vault), 

Kewaunee: Hannah Miller (400m, 800m, 1600m, Triple Jump), Girls 4x800m, Boys 4x800m, Chyanne Robinson (Discus), Mitchell Boeder (Discus), 

Southern Door: Ben Grota (800m, 1600m, 3200m), Elise Jackson (100m and 300m hurdles), Damontrae Meeks (100m hurdles), Girls 4x200m, Ava Everard (High Jump), Frankie Nellis (Long Jump), Grant Pieschek (Pole Vault), Lauden Berg (Long Jump, Triple Jump)

Sturgeon Bay: Ella Tarkowski (100m), Delaney Skiba (3200m), Girls 4x100m, Girls 4x400m, Braden Evers (Shot Put), 

Sevastopol: Rayshaune Johnson (100m)
