With seeding meetings still wrapping up, local baseball teams are still hitting area diamonds in hopes of fine-tuning their pitching and hitting ahead of the start of the WIAA Tournament a week from today.
Baseball today includes Gibraltar/Washington Island playing at home against Lena (4:30 p.m.), Algoma hosting Peshtigo (4:30 p.m.) Kewaunee playing Crivitz at Memorial Field (4 p.m.) before welcoming Sturgeon Bay (6:15 p.m.), Luxemburg-Casco hosting Oconto Falls for a double header (4 p.m.), Sevastopol traveling to Southern Door (4:30 p.m.)
